A loon is a solitary diving bird. Quiet on the surface, doing everything beneath it.

For parents juggling five apps

Five school apps. One list.

ClassCharts for behaviour. Arbor for absence. ParentPay for the trip money. MCAS for the newsletter. And the class WhatsApp group for whatever everyone else missed. Quiet Loon reads what they all email you — and keeps one list.

No new app for the pile. It works with your inbox.

14-day free trial. Cancel any time. You will not be charged until day 15.

Sound familiar?

One child, two schools, five logins.

📱

“I use five different apps across my children's two schools.” Different logins, different notification styles, different places the same trip letter might be.

🔔

The notification says “You have a new message. Log in to view it.” It never says what the message is. It could be a snow closure or a bake sale.

📧

Every app also sends emails. So you have the app pile and the inbox pile, and the important thing is always in the one you didn't check.

💬

The class WhatsApp group exists because everyone knows someone will miss the email. Now that needs checking too.

🧒

Two children, same school, same email — sent to you twice. Four children? Four times.

The one day you actually need the app, it's down — and the deadline isn't.

The schools won't consolidate their apps. Quiet Loon consolidates what the apps tell you.

How it works

Forward, extract, remind.

No accounts to link. No permissions to grant. Just forwarding.

Step 01

Forward the emails they all send.

Every school app emails you. Set up auto-forwarding once, from your inbox to your Quiet Loon address — ClassCharts, Arbor, ParentPay, MCAS, all of them land in the same place.

Step 02

We extract what matters.

Date, deadline, amount, which child, what it's for. Trips, consent slips, non-uniform days, payment chases — one dashboard, whatever app it came from.

Step 03

Reminders where you'll see them.

Day-before reminders by email and WhatsApp. You stop checking five apps because the one thing due tomorrow comes to you.

See every extracted detail in the Quiet Loon dashboard, and get deadlines as WhatsApp family reminders.

Works with what your school already uses

Whatever the app, it emails you. That's all we need.

ClassCharts sends “you have a new announcement” emails that don't say what the announcement is. Quiet Loon turns the follow-up into an actual dated item on your list.

Arbor handles registers, clubs and payments — and emails you about all three in different formats. We read them all.

ParentPay / School Gateway payment requests and low-balance chases become tracked payments with amounts and due dates.

MCAS (My Child At School) newsletters bury next week's dates in paragraph six. We pull them out.

ParentMail / SchoolPing / Weduc letters, forms and consent requests show up as tasks with deadlines, not attachments you meant to open.

SIMS Parent, ClassDojo, Tapestry, Satchel One — if it emails you, it works. There is no integration to break, because there is no integration.

What you stop missing

The stuff that falls between the apps.

Non-uniform and dress-up days

Announced in one app, reminded in none. World Book Day stops being a 7:45am discovery.

Trip payments and consent slips

The money in one app, the form in another. Both on one list, both with deadlines.

Club booking windows

The Monday-9am scramble, surfaced the Friday before.

Per-child, per-school attribution

Year 6 at one school, Year 2 at another. Every item tagged to the right child, whichever app it came from.

The duplicate-email problem

Same message four times for four children becomes one item, once.

Shared with your partner

One list both parents see. “Did you see the thing on ClassCharts?” goes away.

Questions parents ask

Do I have to connect my school apps to Quiet Loon?

No. Nothing is linked and no logins are shared. Quiet Loon only reads the emails the apps already send you, forwarded from your own inbox.

My children's schools use completely different apps. Does that matter?

No — that's the point. Different apps all end up as one list, because they all send email and email is the one thing they have in common.

What if a message only appears in the app, with no email at all?

Most apps email or notify-by-email for anything that needs action. For the rare app-only message, the class WhatsApp group has you covered — and Quiet Loon can't help there yet. We're honest about that.

Who reads my emails?

Extraction is automated. Staff access raw email content only for debugging issues you report. We never use your emails to train AI models. Full details in our privacy policy.
